Laine > Kakko (but Kakko could end up being better) so if I was NYR I wouldn’t take the risk)

DeAngelo > Beaulieu (by far)

A small, all offense no defense RHD with social media problems wouldn't interest Winnipeg at all.

Kakko is okay but would need a pretty hefty add to get the Jets to consider. Laine>>>>Kakko.

Yeah Memarcus I agree for now it’s Laine >>> Kakko 100% but Kakko has the skill set to be better than Laine in every aspect. Except maybe goal scoring. So I say no from both teams honestly, more or so a bigger no from Winnipeg

Kakko is going to be a very good player but I agree that a trade for Laine right now would have to have a big add to make it a go.

Big add from the Jets to take on a one dimensional 2nd line player who's expecting 10 mil or more on his next contract. Which is a year from now.

Wait. didn't the Jets already do this to the Rangers when they "lost" the Trouba trade. Don't remember them having to make a big add for player who wanted a big payday to resign. How did that work out for the Rangers. based on last year, the Jets won that trade.
