Cal: D Batherson, L Brown, L Thomson, R Greig, Ott and Clb 2021 2nds (likely both 32-45 range), 2022 Ott 1st (top 10 protected), some late picks

It probably cost them Batherson, (2021) 1st, Sanderson and maybe more tbh. Brown doesn’t hold much value. Not enough quality, too much quantity.

I'd love to see the brothers playing together too but I'd much prefer trading Gaudreau and a 1st for Brady.

@Mornix Ottawa how zero chance resigning Gaudreau, its pretty much guaranteed imo that he’s going to go to Philly when his contract is up. Brady is already better than Matthew as well, so i really don't see Calgary having any assets to get him.
Keep in mind this deal is a 22-year old w 23 points, 2 recent first round picks, 2 2nds that are probably worth a late first (2 times 30-40 can usually get 25-30), a future first that will likely be valuable and a project in L Brown that may or may not pan out.

Are you crazy? Take out Grieg and ottawas 1st. The rest as is should be well more than enough. They are already getting a quality top 6 guy in Batherson, a future top 4 defense in Thompson, what most league wide STILL consider a high end prospect in L. Brown and 2 2nds lol Matthew is solid yes but more than that? Let alone a likely lottery pick this and next year, and a solid future top 6 former 1st in grieg on top? You're talking McDavid level value or near to it which I'm sorry to tell you, Matthew is just NOT!
