Not sure if Blues would want Primeau when they already have Husso in the system. Lehkonen is nothing to get excited about. He would provide depth is about all. Since the 2020 1st is protected, it might not even turn into a pick until 2021. That’s a bit far down the road. Suzuki is outstanding prospect player. He’s the prize here. He’s as close to a sure thing as they come.

It’s a good offer and one Blues would have to take seriously. If they don’t get a better offer, they might take this one home. I’m not sold on this one as is, but maybe a bit of tweaking and it’s a homerun. Maybe Bergevin gets to win a trade for once.

Leafs gm when was the last one he lost? I think it's about time to stop that garbage. When was the last time dubas won a trade?

Suzuki is a good prospect no question, but since everything else is of little value you have to ask would you trade Tarasenko straight up for Suzuki? The answer from me is no, wouldn’t think about it unless that 1st was 2019 and unprotected.

How about this

Jseperi k, primeau, brook, 2019 first

Tarasenko.

As a mtl fan I wouldn't want to part with Suzuki for Tarasenko.

If tarassenko is being traded for futures, (and he isnt)

Gaurantee if the package was from Montreal it would look like this

Suzuki, Brook, Poehling, 1st 2019

for

Tarasenko, Jaybo, Schmaltz.

Sorry Havby. Didn’t mean to start anything. Just poking a bit of fun at Bergevin is all.

@redwing

Montreal might trade one of Suzuki or Poehling, but I doubt they trade both. That’s three a-prospects and a 1st. Seems like a lot for Tarasenko, who isn’t having the best year and whose stats have been trending down the last couple years.

Bergevin won't see your comments here you should just write him an email.

Hey leafs GM here are your declining aka downward trend of tarasenko at age 27

12-13 age21
gp38 G8 A11 pts19 ppg% .50

13-14
gp64 G21 A22 pts43 ppg% .67

14-15
gp77 G37 A36 pts73 ppg% .95

15-16
gp80 G40 A34 pts74 ppg% .93

16-17
gp82 G39 A36 pts75 ppg% .92

17-18
gp80 G33 A33 pts66 ppg% .83
(he was hurt last month of season go surgery in offseason on his shoulder)

18-19
gp41 G12 A13 pts25 ppg% .61

(recovering from off season shoulder sugery)

To sit here and say Tarasenko is in a decline is absurd. He was injured and is recovering from injury.

He has looked very good lately and is hitting post or just missing the net.

The team as a whole is not performing.

He put those numbers up with Jori Freaking Lehtera.

Please next time you try to talk smack, try to have some sort of semblance to what is actually going on.

Also if i am only getting one prospect from MTL then we want koktanemi

Poehling and Suzucki are not that great and mtl really doesn't have a lot to offer. I think its better to just not deal Tarasenko 35-40 goal scorers don't grow on trees.

Colt you did tell us once that Lehtera was one of the best playmakers in the league.

Seemed like it when he played with tarasenko. It was tarasenko who made home look good.

I am glad you could deflect for leafs gm. With tarasenko declining numbers lol.

kk is only 18 he is amazing now just going to get better you would be a fool to trade this guy he can quarter back the pp from the circle watch him he is good and getting better as the year goes he will get tied near the end but that is ok learning this year do not trade him Suzuki or p.
