@Arty then that makes sense for both teams. If Clb prefers Elvis, Edm would prefer Korpisalo since he’s cheaper. Good trade.

I think Korpisalo is a perfect target for Edmonton if his value reflects his last couple seasons. This is too much to give up for a guy that has worse numbers than Koskinen.

Columbus doesn’t have salary issues so I don’t think they’d need to retain on Koskinen. He’d be a good back up and a tradeable asset at the deadline. Korpisalo’s value is his age and potential and considering his numbers the past three seasons I don’t think it’s a 1st pick +.
