Valimaki and a 1st would be needed. But that third piece can't be a a 22 year old winger with 8 NHL games. They wanted a first, a top D prospect (valimaki) and a young NHLer. 8 games over 4 years since being drafted isn't that.

If that's not enough, it explains why duchene hasn't been dealt. He is not worth the desired asking price.
