Habs might try to bring in Niemi as a rental to back up price .
1.) Why would they pay for a goalie that would play about 5 games and then walk away on free agency?
2.) Why? If Price gets seriously injured, Habs won't win with Niemi anymore than with Tokarski.
just like Hawks are done without Kane, why bother giving up picks and top prospects for a rental to replace your best player
3.) Montreal gave up picks/prospect last year for a rental player, they might do it again if they think it'll get them closer to a cup.

1.) Why would they pay for a goalie that would play about 5 games for them then run away on free agency?
2.) Pretty sure the CHI trade won't happen, they want to get rid of salaries, not get 8m on the cap back.
EDM says no, not enough value going their way for Yak and Ebs.
3.) Chicago doesn't want or need Emelin and especially Parenteau and Edmonton hangs up the phone.
4.) Fair offers by Habs

Sharp isn't going with Kane out unless they get a power forwards. Bickell is going
I've heard in french media habs want Bickell. to get him mabe Parenteau and Ellers, Kane is injured out 3 months .
I figure Ellers is going to Chicago on a Bickell or Sharp deal. or Edmonton with a pick or prospect for Petry deal
