No hate please, just tell me why or why not reasonable
1.) We don't want flordias garbage.
For them to get kessel, either barkov or ekblad needs to be in the deal.
2.) Take away biggs and 3rd its not that there valued pieces its that if we trade Kessel the package would be a young top six forward a young potential top 4 D-man and a first so no need to add biggs and a third

FLA has repeatedly stated they are not parting with Bjugstad, Huberdeau, Barkov, Ekblad. So stop that.
4.) Actually I don't think they have said they would be against trading Huberdeau I believe.
5.) @ Drais
Considering they haven't actually spoken to TO about Kessel, I wouldn't put much stock into any other rumor about what would or would not move in a trade.
The trade isn't bad. I would say it's pretty close. It's not a deadline move, it would happen at the draft, if FLA makes the playoffs. So maybe that changes the dynamic for ppl.

Well, I read they have had talks with TOR. And that they made clear they would not trade Bjugstad, Huberdeau, Ekblad and Barkov. That's what I read.
And yes, would/should definitely be a draft deal if at all

its a toss up right now its hard to compare guys at this age who are a year apart.right now domi is the better all around player but he also has had a extra year to develop.

Everyone in the 1st column except -- and I hate to say it -- Draisaitl. But in my mind that one is the biggest tossup because of their comparables. Draisaitl looks like a Kopitar type player, Strome looks like a Thornton type player. In other words, they look like very similar players in almost every regard. Maybe it's just because I saw Draisaitl have a poor start in the NHL and I need to remind myself that it was under the worst coach in the past few decades of Oilers history and that could quickly be expunged in the coming season. Still, Strome looks good too.
The other close one is Fucale v Subban. Fucale faltered, but if he rebounds he will likely be better. Still, Subban is good too. Others I'm less torn on.
