LA gets goal scoring help they need and rid of a nagging contract and won't look back making the playoffs next year and the leafs get draft selections roughly every 10 picks in the first round at 4,13,24 this year for there rebuild and get there 2 first rounders back for kessel. Only downside for toronto will be that kings 2016 will be a 20something overall pick so u got to knock 13 overall this year outta the park

I'm a Kings fan and that trade couldn't happen for 3 reasons:
1. Carolina has our 1st next season
2. We'd need to throw in a prospect as well.
3. Kessels too expensive he would hurt our chances of signing back Kopi

You're probably right kingslover but Kessel would sure look good in LA. Their defensive style is so good you wouldn't even notice Kessel's lack of it. I bet he puts up 40 goals +

Helps both teams out in the rebuild. Gives Edmonton a chance to compete next year and the leafs get the generational talent to build around which Edmonton is largely compensated for. Leafs hope there not in the bottom 5 with babcock behimd the bench and trade bozak/lupul/phanuef to re coop 1st round pick in 2016. If edm still say no throw in reimer and its a done deal. What do u guys think?
