To Colorado: Kessel, Bozak, Phaneuf
to Tor: MacKinnon, Duchene, Redmond & a 1st or 2nd
1.) This is horrible. I mean worst thing I've ever read.

i love the leafs but this is bad.
3.) Are you kidding me!!! toronto gets ripped off here! they give the best sniper in the league and an elite two way first liner for an up and coming superstar. who cares tho. and a speedy young first line center. so what there always easy to come by
avalanche add landeskog and MAYBE toronto listens to what they to offer
4.) Colorado gains in point total 97 compared to 65 when u compare stats.They can then sign ROR to an extension Toronto gets 2 young centers to build around. And a dman to take some of Phaneufs minutesit should b a win win

9.) There is very little chance that COL trades either Duchene and MacKinnon, let alone both of them in one trade. And especially not for Kessel, Bozak and Phaneuf.
Closest I could see is:
COL: Kessel, Bozak
TOR: O'Rielly, Briere, Bigars, 2015 2nd, 2016 1st
This accounts for the salary moving (Toronto saves $6 million over the next 2 years and more beyond that depending on whether O'Rielly re-signs).

Van acquires E. Kane & Ladd
Winnipeg gets Sedins
Both Kane & Ladd r from British Col.
1.) Sedins aren't going anywhere, Ladd doesn't want to play in Vancouver.
2.) Wayyy more from Winnipeg
3.) I'm from Ontario does that factor into the deal?
4.) No way winnipeg would take that
5.) Kane is 22 Ladd is 28
Sedins best years r behind them. Ladd adds leadership, Kane is only going to get better.
6.) Generally home boys want to play for hometown team. Family is nearby. So Being from Ontario means nothing but being from Vancouver and Maple Ridge should mean something.
7.) Yeah for a free agent, not a tradee
8.) No I'm telling you Ladd doesn't want to play in Vancouver. I know the family and he has said he doesn't want to come here because everyone bugs him and his family about tickets and free stuff.

To Edmonton: Phaneuf, Gardiner, D'amigo, Ashton
To Toronto: Nurse, Klefbom, and 3rd overall
Edmonton gets a top shutdown dman who plays 25 to 30 minutes a night and has some offensive upside. Gardiner is getting better he is also friends with Justin and they have played together. D'amigo and Ashton add defense to the forward group. Best of all Edmonton doesn't give up 1 of their forwards just prospects. Toronto gets 2 young dmen that should be ready soon and they get to draft a good young center plus they keep their 8th pick.
1.) But the problem is toronto is just as hurting for defense as edmonton. it just isn't going to happen right now. gardiner and phaneuf played the most minutes out of everybody on the team. they would have to replace 45min per night. and the free agency market isn't too deep. if they don't end up getting two of boyle mezaros or robidas then those minutes won't get replaced. and even mezaros and robidas aren't guys who will get that kind of ice time
2.) EDM gets bent over.
3.) List all teams wanting Phanoof. He's not the worst D in the elague, but his contract is.
4.) TOR would need to add and EDM would need to take away Klefbom for it to be fair
It would have to be Seth Jones, Fiala and a 1st minimum Before I would even think of doing it. that is not a great deal Fiala is unproven and no guarantees with a 1st rdp. I think it needs to be Forsberg & Jones for Kessel.
Bernier is not untouchable. He has truly let us down he hasn't stole a game for us in a long time. He is too small imo. I'm not saying to give him away but if I could get Gibson+ or Lehner or Tampa's prospect Vas?+, I would be tempted. He has played well sometimes but so has Reimer. Nylander had a great world juniors he is a year younger than Domi and they had same point total , so he is untouchable, Reilly is going to b great as well.
