I think it's doable straight one for one depending on what Necas gets signed for.
Here's an interesting thing completely unrelated to your proposal. I've been wondering though. is this the year we see Montreal give Necas or Jarvis an offer sheet as "revenge" for the offer sheet to Kotkaniemi? Both would individually be a great addition to the Habs forward group.

Don't see a scenario where LA gets rid of Clarke. If you want to cut the middle man (NSH) . Do Anderson and a pick for Dubois.
The issue with Dubois is he wants to just be a 1st liner, but has yet to show he's a 1st liner in any capacity. He goes to the Habs and he has to beat out Suzuki and I don't see him doing that. Maybe he'd be content since he'll be close to home, but I think we would see the same results as we have in Columbus, Winnipeg, and LA.

I don't see it for Habs. I like the direction they are going . Sure its great to bring in a Frnech guy I suppose, but it seems like he's got some kind of attitude issue ( Columbus, Winnipeg) . I'm sure they will look for a top 6 forward, but I like the potential of

Habs have added some great draft capital to add some good young pieces and "castoffs" from other teams that are finding their way on the Habs. Tonnes of young damn coming up the system as well. Only hole I see is a capable starting goalie. Habs will be back in the playoff hunt soon enough.

I would like to see xhekaj as a forward, so when he fight, we still have 6 d available, but I don't think they will do it, he's a good bottom pairing D with some offensive upside.

By the time Mathesson contract ends up engstrom and konyuskov will be NHL ready, and you forgot xhekaj, so I think Harris, stubble and Barron are expendable pieces for the habs.

Unload Gallagher contract give massive cap space. Habs will already have 15 M in cap space. Now will have 20M to make a big splash. Make a forward roster spot in the bottom six for a more physical guy (cheaper) or younger like Joshua roy or henneiman.
