This is interesting. Nemec is a key price I see on the move and Montreal has 2 prices I think NJ would like. Evans in one, and savard is the other. I think a much bigger move could be made involving these 3 prices.

I known slaf and nemec are good friands, but ill hang on to reinbacher and keep evans, i think reinbacher would be more complète, as nemec more offensive but hutson and reinbacher would be a better pairing in à near future.

the return is the only way to make the money work for the leafs because of the core. Evans value is rising but I don’t think as much as people think. Easton Cowan is a sick prospect and rare a low second rounder will be better than him. 3rd or 4th for the retention so more mid pick

If the Habs are just giving away their players we might as well throw in a few more pieces like Kampf and Robertson and bring in Hutson and Laine as well.
Reaves has zero value at this point besides maybe being a glue guy or a good dressing room guy. Hak's health is huge red flag. Cowan needs to bring his stock back up after a horrible showing at the WJC.

Obliviously Reavo will never see ice time, he’ll take Pezz spot next year. Hak is done at the end of the year. Cowans stock will rise again. Getting a top prospect for a D who’s worth a 3rd or 4th, a centre who’s worth a 2nd or 3rd and high second doesn’t seem that bad. Would you interchange Knies for Cowan?

JRoy. your logic is significantly and "Obliviously" flawed.
Cowan isn't a top prospect, Reaves is irrellevant, and Hak is a cap dump without compensation.
Looks like Evans will re-sign in MTL now, and you may be the only one who is surprised that Savard will return more than a 3rd or a 4th at the deadline. RD are in short supply, especially ones with Cup-winning experience who are excellent defensively.

BIG NO from EDM.
Koskinen is 23-9-3 with a .904Sv%, but more importantly started the season 12W-2L, then stunk for 6 weeks going 0W-6L-1T but has gone 11W-1L-2T since, so the Oilers are playing well with him in net right now.
They wouldn't consider Trading Holloway unless they got a Top Player or Prospect either. The Flames would make them a better offer to bring him back to Calgary.
