Arizona:
Morgan Rielly D
Timothy Liljegren D
Nick Robertson RW

Toronto:
Josh Doan RW
Jakob Chychrun D

LesHabitants

1.) 10 Sep 2021 05:20:50
Chychrun >> Rielly
Doan >> Roberterson

Liljegren isn't nearly enough to make up the difference.

2.) 10 Sep 2021 06:14:11
Arizona asks for Matthews and tells you what to do with your trash.

3.) 10 Sep 2021 06:33:39
Shane Doan got the privilege to draft his own son and you think Arizona would flip him months later? Bruh.

4.) 10 Sep 2021 13:07:14
Can someone please tell me how Josh Doan>>Robertson? Both are 2nd round picks. Robertson played 1st line in his D+1 year for USA at the U20 WJC where he had a strong showing. He then became the youngest player in leafs history to play a playoff game. He was then held back from the leafs to go back down to the WJC because he already proved himself there. ( a mistake imo ) .

Doan is a few years away Atleast from the NHL where as Robertson will probably be top 6 on the leafs.

Am I crazy because I have no clue how someone could possibly thing Josh Doan is currently a better prospect. Not to say Arizona would move their hometown boy for PR reasons but that’s just a crazy statement imo.

5.) 10 Sep 2021 14:49:13
It's obvious enough it shouldn't need to be said.

Besides being an early second round pick vs a late second round pick Doan is bigger, stronger, younger and he's a right shot which is harder to find than left shots like Robertson.

A right shot forward with good size vs a left shot shrimp.

6.) 10 Sep 2021 16:06:27
Blues would offer the following for chychrun.

Scandella (cap and a 4 5 dman)
Perunovich ( better version of dunn)
1st 2023 unprotected.
Alexandrov ( yound 2c center almost nhl ready)

That beats your offer.

7.) 10 Sep 2021 18:21:35
No doubt 29 other teams would beat the offer in the original post too.

8.) 10 Sep 2021 18:40:23
Draft position means very little many players like Kucherov, Guadreau, Webber, Karlsson, Rinne and Vais vastly out live there draft position. He was drafted 2 years ago and is miles ahead in development then plenty of 1st round pick in the 2019 draft. Let’s not forget he missed the 2020 draft requirements by a hair so really if he were to be picked in 2020 he would’ve been a top 20 pick after a 55 goal year in the OHL. Robertson is guaranteed to be a NHL player. Doan is not. Size and Strength can be built by hard work. Skill, IQ and Talent are much harder to come by. Bigger doesn't mean better. Look at Freddy Gauthier. He went before Guadreau but does that mean he’s better then Guadreau?

No buddy is taking Doan over Robertson. Literally nobody. Robertson cracked the top 50 prospects rakings 2 years in a row now.

I hope your good with your hands @MoxNix.

9.) 12 Sep 2021 03:05:05
I'd take any player over any Maple Leaf.

10.) 12 Sep 2021 18:39:41
Thats not enough for Chych, and the Yotes won't trade Doan because of Shane Doan, but to say Josh Doan is more valuable than Robertson is laughable.

11.) 15 Sep 2021 22:29:54
So. vbbbvbb . you have claimed Robertson is guaranteed to be an NHL player. was that based on his 4-5 shifts so far?

05 Aug 2021 01:13:05
Florida:
Morgan Rielly D
Travis Dermott D
Nicholas Robertson RW

Toronto:
Aaron Ekblad D

LesHabitants

1.) 05 Aug 2021 04:15:52
Why would Florida do this?

2.) 05 Aug 2021 05:14:38
Florida says make it Anton Stralman or Radko Gudas for Reilly and we'll think about taking those other two even though they'll never play here either.

3.) 08 Aug 2021 19:39:18
Nicholas Robertson has more value to leaf fans than everyone else. Florida gives up too much, ekblad is better than reilly by a gap. Is signed past this year, and is younger.

04 Aug 2021 19:46:19
Toronto:
Jakob Chychrun D
Christian Dvorak RW
Victor Soderstrom D
Josh Doan RW

Arizona:
Mitch Marner RW
Timothy Liljegren D
Morgan Rielly D

LesHabitants

1.) 04 Aug 2021 23:03:30
Leafs should get more.

2.) 05 Aug 2021 17:29:45
Leafs would need to retain about 3 mil in salary on Marner and Reilly would have to agree to a contract extension Arizona can live with too.

29 Jul 2021 12:28:13
Seattle:

M. Marner RW

Toronto:

C. Jarnkrok C
J. McCann C
M. Beniers C

LesHabitants

1.) 29 Jul 2021 18:30:10
Seattle says:

We aren't giving up Beniers unless we're getting a proven top 6 center we like back. We aren't giving up 3 centers either without getting any back. And finally, how much of Marner's salary will you retain?

2.) 29 Jul 2021 19:15:32
I thought Jarnkrok was a LW.

3.) 30 Jul 2021 01:16:09
He played LW in Nashville but he's listed as a center on hockydb, usually that means he was a center when he was drafted. He's a right shot too so he should be able to play all 3 forward positions.

4.) 31 Jul 2021 11:53:17
Bit of an overpay for marner and I even like him.

27 Jul 2021 16:58:57
Seattle:

M. Marner RW
T. Dermott D
T. Liljegren D

Toronto:

C. Jarnkrok C
J. McCann C
M. Beniers C
2nd 2022

LesHabitants

1.) 27 Jul 2021 18:15:19
2nd and McCann = Liljegren and Dermott
Marner >>> Beniers, Jarnkrok

No from Toronto.

2.) 27 Jul 2021 20:43:23
Don’t agree with that not casual.
McCann > Dermott
2nd = Liljegren
Beniers.

3.) 27 Jul 2021 20:45:10
I’ll take Lili over McCann and a 2nd.

4.) 28 Jul 2021 01:41:02
Regardless of value it doesn't make sense for either team. 3 centers for a RW and 2 D?

Toronto doesn't need 3 more centers and Seattle already has more defensemen than they need.

Toronto:
J. Iginla RW

Colorado:
3rd 2019
F. Corrado D

Toronto:
S. Doan RW

Arizona:
2nd 2019

LesHabitants

1.) 13 Jan 2017 23:57:59
Although Toronto has been impressive, they aren't cup contenders yet.
These guys need to go to Chicago., Washington., Pittsburgh at this stage in there career.

2.) 14 Jan 2017 00:19:14
NO

WE don't NEED OLD PLAYERS.

3.) 14 Jan 2017 00:32:35
Why would Toronto want thoes two imo there going to be bottom 3

4.) 14 Jan 2017 03:40:49
It's hard to magine the Leafs being bottom three when they're right around a playoff spot half way through the season. Like, do you expect some epic run of losing?

That said, I agree they don't have any use for Iggy or Doan.

5.) 14 Jan 2017 09:20:58
Shanky, me thinks he meant the players would end up on the 4th line.

6.) 14 Jan 2017 18:28:26
oops, that makes a little more sense.

7.) 15 Jan 2017 02:30:33
No I meant there going to hopfully win 10 of the next 40

12 Aug 2016 21:31:00
Oilers:

J. van Riemsdyk LW ( 4.2 mil x 2 yrs)
J. Gardiner D ( 4.05 mil x 3 yrs)
P. Holland C (1.3 mil x 1 yr)
F. Corrado D ( .600 mil x 1 yr )

Leafs:

L. Draisaitl C ( 1 mil x 2 yrs)
A. Ference D (3.25 mil x 1 yr)
D. Nurse D (1 mil x 1 yr)
N. Yakupov RW ( 2.5 mil x 2 yrs)

LesHabitants

1.) 12 Aug 2016 22:57:01
What a bad trade for the Oilers. Draisaitl and Nurse alone is worth more than what is being offered by the Leafs.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 23:03:39
This has got to be one of the worst like bruh that wouldn't even get Draisaitl.

3.) 12 Aug 2016 23:55:44
Worst proposal I've seen in a while. Please make the call and get it done.

How can we justify trading Galchenyuk for any top player in the league if we continue to play him on the 4th line and continue to say he under performs. We have to trade one head ache for another teams head ache.

Canadafinest is right!

Rumors has it that Alex Galchenyuk wants to be closer to his buddy Brad who cuts the grass for Babcock. They are very close and went to pre-school together. They bumped into each other over the summer while at the park. Brad was on the swing sets having the time of his life when Alex was swinging on the monkey bars, they locked eyes and have been inseparable ever since.
They do everything together Alex is looking for housing in GTA, with a back yard and grass so Brad can play and work at the same time.

Montreal: Lupul, Cowen and Greening

Toronto: Galchenyuk, Scherbak.
