This will never happen but its interesting and tricky trade.
Ok this is a big deal. A little confusing.
4 team trade.
Chicago - Vancouver - Arizona - Toronto
TO
Blackhawks - D. Sedin
- H. Sedin
- Kalinin (from Tor)
Canucks - Seabrook
- Burmistrov
- Lupul
Coyotoes - Hossa
Leafs - Kruger
lots of pieces and money.
Have at it GMs

So.
Vancouver trades D. Sedin + H. Sedin in exchange for Seabrook + Burmistrov + Lupul
Hell no from Vancouver. The twins are getting traded for younger pieces, not a usless Lupul, an old Seabrook and a bust of Burmistrov
Chicago trades Seabrook + Hossa + Kruger in exchange for Sedin + Sedin + Kalinin.
No from Chicago, and yes. The Sedins are worse but are on term for less. So idrk. Chicago does dump cap, so is a possibility.
Arizona trades Burmistrov in exchange for Hossa.
HELL YEAH FROM ARIZONA. Hossa isn't playing out his term. he's probabky playing 2-3 more years max. But still, 2-3 years more from Hossa is worth way more than whatever Burmistrov will do in a depth role.
Toronto trades Kalinin + Lupul in exchange for Kruger
As a leaf fan, i take that any day of the week. Kruger may be on the books for longer, but Kalinin is nothing and Lupul is negative value. Kruger can play the fourth line, something that Toronto needs after Boyle leaves. But this part definetly favours the Leafs.
All in all, it just seems like Vancouver and Chicago get screwed, and Arizona and Toronto make off with spoils.

Seabrook has one of the worst contracts, his mobility is almost gone. Zero interest in Seabrook.

there's so much wrong with this. i don't even know where to start.
1) chicago says no, even though we lose a rubbish load of cap with kruger, seabrook and hossa, it's not worth taking sedin twin salary.
2) vancouver's in a rebuild so why would they want seabrook, lupul and burmistrov? burmistrov is the only one that would be worth while, even then they aren't getting their money's worth out of the deal.
3) toronto would be getting a decent deal getting rid of lupul's contract and getting kruger who could help 4th line
4) arizona taking hossa's contract would be nice and would help them reach the cap floor but they could just use that money to pay their youunger guys more
5) it's extremely rare to see a 3 way trade, let lone a 4 way trade. correct me if i'm wrong but i don't remember there ever being a 4 way trade.

no way from leafs.
