Buf : Power, Savoie, Peterka, 2023 1st (unprotected)

Buf : Middlestadt, Skinner, Olofson, 2024 2nd, 2023 3rd

Chi : Kane

Ottawa gets a high 1st back like they gave up for DeBrincat in the first place, and swaps prospects for prospects who better fit the mold. While Buffalo brings Kane home and reunites him with DeBrincat while keeping Cozens, Quinn, Thompson, and Krebs to fill out their Top 6 for a solid run while Kane is still a capable threat. And Chicago can just flip Olofson and Skinner for more assets for the rebuild or just keep em and see what they. can do with em.

I doubt Buffalo is willing to trade Power. DeBrincat is a niece piece but they already have a player who's scoring at a higher pace than him. Power is the real deal, him and Dahlin are going to be on Buffalo's blue line for a while

Scoring at a higher pace by 1 guy or not, teams aren't usually going to turn down a chance to add more scoring depth, let alone the kind of depth Kane + DeBrincat would add. Adding another top end duo like those guys to take pressure off Thompson would be a scary thought for the rest of the league. Doubt they would pass on that. Together with DeBrincat Kane was always among the top 5 to 10 in the league and DeBrincat added 40+ goals, combine that with what Thompson is doing now, I doubt they'd miss Power lol.
