Just read Pittsburgh may be moving Kessel in a "blockbuster" trade!

What about to sharks to play with pavelski like in the olympics for timo Meier? Gives pens a good prospect with size and skill who is cheap. Gives sharks a goal scoring winger to replace marleau, similar money to marleau but much younger. Sharks didn't want to give marleau the third year at 6.25 because he was 37. Could get 4 years of kessel at 28 or 29 for 6.5. (8 mill deal which leafs pay 1.5 of) . Or maybe even sweeten the pot to have pens hold another mill or so of it.

I don't think there is anything Winnipeg would be really interested in for Trouba that Boston would be willing to give up. Jets would probably ask for McAvoy, since they need a LHDman. Might settle for Krug plus but Boston still probably would see it as pointless.
I have heard they are inquiring but I don't really see a deal here from both sides. Unless one is willing to pay more or sell for less. So I don't see a realistic offer happening. This is from what I have heard.

Carlo played top 4 minutes at 19 years old and McAvoy is looking like a real solid top 4 puck mover.
In what universe would it take both of them to get Trouba? With his attitude, I'd probably rather have both of those guys anyways.

I wouldn't do it from jets point either, but Fluery isn't exactly aging and overpaid. Maybe in Pittsburgh because a really good young goalie makes less. But in the grand scheme of things, he's 31 or 32 and still a good goalie making 5 mill. Here's spot of good goalies who haven't even established themselves until they're pushing 30. Cam talbot is turning 30 in a cpl months and almost done his second year as a starter.

Fluery is still an upgrade in a few nets around the league, winnipegs being one of them. And if you can have a starting goalie who has shown to be capable of playing 65+ games for $5mill, you're doing alright.
