Draisaitl is great and all but leafs pass this pretty easily trading 3 young assets for 1 is never a good idea especially in the position the leafs are in and Kadri and Gardiner are both established NHLers under the age of 25 who I feel anyways have potential to become a lower tier 1st line center/really good second line center and top 3 potentially top 2 defenceman. Fairly easy no for the leafs IMO.

No way from Edmonton. Purcell's contract is done next summer. We are not trading a top level prospect in Draisaitl just to dump cap. We have no need for kadri AT ALL. and gardener is far from the answer to our defensive issues.

How does this help Toronto? I'd rather have 3 great prospects than 1.

As a leafs fan I wouldn't do this trade. I think Babcock will help develop Gardiners potential and the leafs brass are big fans of kapanen so I doubt they are going to trade him.

Not saying value is far off but we have no need for Kadri or Gardiner so no from Oil and maybe no from Leafs

Oilers need to trade RNH. They won't be able to afford everyone.
