With Sparks starting tmrw Bernier is now 0-8-1 with below 900 sv percentage and above 3 GAA and it seems Babcock has lost confidence in him as the team.
To TOR 3rd 2016, 5th 2017 (Becomes 3rd 2017 if Bernier starts move then 45 GM's that season), Ramo.
To CGY Bernier
- CGY has struggled with goaltending more then any other team this year, now Bernier's stats may be bad but a fresh start in CGY could Benefit. (Proven he can play decent)
- Leafs add some depth picks and a more suitable Back up for James and clear another distraction in the Bernier situation.

maybe, idk if anyone will take a chance on bernier though, considering he has another year @ 4.1 mil on his contract.

No way CGY gives up that much. TOR is pondering putting him on waivers according to several sources and he has another year at 4 mil. The most CGY should give is a problem for a problem. Hiller for Bernier. TOR benefits from a vet with pretty consistent #'s (aside from this year) that can be moved at the deadline and CGY possibly benefits from Bernier finding his game in a different market.

lol what are your sources saying bernier is going on waivers? the leafs don't want to roll with a sparks/reimer combo at the moment, no matter how bad bernier plays. they'd rather give sparks ad bubeau time in the AHL than have sparks either not play at all in the NHL behind reimer or play somewhat regularily and likely get shelled.
