I think Colorado should be able to get more for him. As a pure rental he's worth the standard 1st an a 3rd minimum.

Minimum to land necas would be a 1st and a top 5 prospect.

Avs would want to retain him before considering trade talks, they contending for a Stanley. Think Necus wouldn’t get the wages he wants from another team. No one is going to offer the big wages he might want. I think he ends up re-signing.
