Considering the fact that we were about to trade plackaneck for yandle one year it just seem fair that he get the same value of yandle considering that the market is the same!

Hahaha lol, no, just no. A Pleckaneck for Yandle deal would have been a steal, to bad for you guys Bergvin didn't do it! A mid second and a deasent prospect or rosterplayer with potential is more likely.

BAHAHA and you say leaf fans yet you try to get one of Detroit's best prospects for an aging 2nd or 3rd line center. They wouldn't include those prospects in a trade for a position they actually need (Phaneuf) so what makes you think they would do it for Plekenacs?

There is NO way that was the trade. Plekanak is at best a 2nd line center and Montreal would add a lot more

U don't seem to quite get the fact that any team at the deadline overpay to get a boost , so the market was hight i'm sure that if habs were in leafs position they would have gotten yandle value for that cause he was the best forward who would have been on the market at the time
