BOS trades Loui Eriksson to
BUF for Markus Foligno, Cody Hodgson, Matt Moulson and Nick Baptiste
Foligno takes on the role of Lucic and playing with Bergeron or Krejci may make Boston forget about Lucic. Hodgson has proven that he could score 20 or more goals with decent line mates and could take Eriksson in the line up. Moulson also playing with Bergeron or Krejci could return to his 30 goals per year performance. Eriksson give BUF that top RW needed to fill out their top 6 (O'Reilly, Eichel, Reinhart, Kane, Ennis and Eriksson)

Hodgson has proved he can score 20 goals? When? Where? The OHL? If he was a 20 goal scorer they wouldn't be buying him out dude.

Boston already has cap trouble and you wanna trade 4.25mil for over 11mil. and you return for errikson is ridiculous

Thanks for the feedback. I know that Chiarelli was shopping Eriksson I do not know if Sweeney is doing the same. Maybe if Murray held back some of Hodgson salary and replaced Moulson with a pick or an another prospect?
@Shootsmcgee I completely forgot about the cap, that was a real brain fart on my part. I wonder though if Foligno would be a good fit in Boston?
@Stammer2Leafs2016 Hodgson scored 16 goals in 63 games for Van in '11-'12, 15 goals in 48 games for Buf in '12-'13 and 20 goals in '13-'14 in 72 games. So prior to the lost season with (butt)head coach Ted Nolan, he scored .29 g/gm over a 3 year period (Loui over his career scores .28 g/gm) or 23 goals/82 games and he has never had a center as Krejci nor Bergeron to play with.
As I said above, I thought this trade could work for Boston, giving them two young players.
