When the Leafs Traded for Kessel they gave Boston 2 1st Round Picks and a 2nd Round Pick which turned into Seguin, DHamilton, and Knight.
SReinhart and Ristolainen are 2 Former 1st Round Picks and when you add the 2nd Rounder its getting back what you Traded for in the first place, which if you are the Leafs you would insist on, Buffalo has taken a huge step in being a good Team this year and in the future, adding a Top Scoring Winger in Kessel is something Buffalo should look into, they are so deep at Centre that this actually makes sense for the Sabres and makes sense for the Leafs.
I see a Deal just like this going down if Kessel agrees to waive his NTC to make it happen.

ristolainen is un touchable since he is their future number 1 dman reinhart is a former number 2 pick and I believe he is also untouchable also this is a huuuuuuuuuuuuge overpayment by buffalo

It wouldn't happen, even if it was only for Reinhart or Ristolainen, who both project as elite players

Toronto doesn't have the D (maybe Reilly) to stop/catch Kessel, trading to Buffalo is just too close to home' great deal but it would keep Buffalo winning easily over the Leafs for the next 5+years.
Send Phil to the cap clearing Ducks, Hawks are losing Sharp, Richards, Oduya and hopefully another team steals Saad. Now is the Ducks time to strike.
C.Fowler, R.Rackel & 3rd round pick for Kessel & 4th round pick.
