Just an idea :
Mtl : fucale, tinordi, 2nd round pick, emelin / desharnais (cap dump)
Edm : yakupov, 5th round pick
Could be off by a mile, it's just a proposition

Pretty bad as an edm fan we make a hole in our top six and take on a lot of cap space we don't even fill any holes in our defense emlin and tinordi are top 4 defense at best and fucale will be a career backup edm pass

I mean, the value is fair I GUESS. But if you want us to take Emelin or DD expect Nikitin or J.Schultz coming back. Plus, I would LOVE to see Yakupov play with McDavid

Schultz is NOT a cap dump… he's signed to a one year deal to prove he's worth a long term deal.

Im not a shultz fan, but glad he didn't get a long temr deal, one year and see how well he can perform now under a solid vet coach in McLellen will be interesting, him and Yak I think can have very good years this year now. Hopefully the manegment and coachihng change totally improved the attitude and culture there. Hopefully anyways! ha

Edmonton should be looking for a goalie like Fucale to build around with McDavid. Yakupov definetely gets the ball rolling here from both sides. don't think this trade would look exactly as above, but its a trade that could work for both sides.^^^^ when whoever said fucale is a career backup, um do you even know who fucale is? hasn't played a single nhl game, is what 20 years old? and labels him as a career backup. The last edmonton goalies include scrivens, fasth and now talbot ( a.k.a : all career backups!!) edmonton still has a ways to go. Talbot isn't the answer

Edm now has Talbot to biuld around and also Lauren Broisiot in the system who some say is and can be as good as Fucale.
