sbisa + baertschi is worth essentially nothing. you must be a VAN fan. simply being young, and even being a high pick in baertschi's case, doesn't equate to value or production.

IMO no from Van. I agree all those players probably wouldn't get dion as its quantity over quality and the pair of 2nds is nice; however, the 2016 1st from Van could be a top 10 pick maybe even top 5. This trade actually makes our blue line solid with 4 top 4 Dman but Canucks need to keep that pick.

@Shaknar you must understand that Phaneuf is way overvalued by many, and is only slightly better than sbisa (minus the physical attributes)

Way too much for Phaneuf. That 1st has a good shot at being in the top-10 at the 2016 draft and his contract sucks.

Lol at ycoily seriously? Phaneuf is better at every aspect of the game except for skating maybe which from judging from the preseason games has actually improved. Take those leaf hater glasses off.
