If the Ducks were willing to move lindholm I'd like to see this trade.
Tor:JVR, Gardiner, P. Holland/S. Mathias and pits 2nd
Ana: H, Lindholm and a good Center prospec.
Ana down grades with Gardiner who plays a puck moving role and get a top line winger to play with Perry on the opposite wing to bring back a more affective bobby Ryan. They also get a good third Line rental and a nice pick. Leafs get a future top 2 D if not one now.

Draisaitl_94 there pretty much the same player I don't agree with that statement if anything marner or Nylander witch all three are untouchable.

Im not a fan of trading JVR unless its part of a significant move.
Hes a consistant left winger with skill and size on a cheep contract with term. That gives him value. The leafs should just keep him.
This trade is bad for the leafs and doesn't make sense for the ducks either. They had gardiner and Schultz and pushed them both out for a reason, doubt they want gardiner back.

@Drais how not? So far this year (I know small sample size) he is leading that draft class in points with very limited power play opportunity and has been given the assignment of facing the other teams top lines every night and over the last month or so with the exception of a few gafs (which is to be expected of a 21 year defenceman) has actually done a pretty good job at it. I'm not saying Lindholm is bad (he is an awesome player) I just think that people have to give credit where credit is due which in my opinion Rielly definitely deserves.

I agree with Charles his upside is higher than lindholm IMO
Sense he could be a karrlson/OEL type player but
Lindholm is a bigger guy and uses a more affective deffense game than Rielly so that probably Draisaitls argument.
