Ott : boadker, Paul, formenton, 2nd in 2020 (lowest of the 3 they have)

Tor : Nylander, a conditional 1st (if it is top 10 in 2020 it will be 2020 pick, otherwise it will be a 2022 1st round pick)

Ott : ryan, balcers (conditional upon hall resigning in Ottawa or it becomes veronneau), 4th 2021

Njd : hall

Ottawa and Toronto are known for odd trades that help each other's cap situations. Boadker could step into nylanders minutes to finish the season then then can let him walk, the 2nd will be usefully in a strong draft class, and Paul is finally finding his rythem in the NHL while formenton is the insurance peice as he will be solid asset for future.

In return Ottawa gets another 1st for the rebuild and takes a chance by acquiring nylanders bad contract to help out Toronto by opening the space desperately needed in coming years to sign the likes of Andersen Rielly, Barrie, kapanen, hyman, etc.

Hall won't stay in jersey and because teams know this he won't fetch much return and with Ryan's hands issue finally a thing of the past and his contract up in 2seasons he would be a perfect fit in jersey while they wait for entry level contracts of hishier and Hughes to expire at the same time. On top of that they get a late pick and a solid prospect in either balcers or vereneau. Ottawa gets a solid rental or hopeful resign in hall who's speed will fit in nicely and hopefully the curse of hall helps them land Lafreniere lol

Ottawa has well more than enough solid prospects to spare for upgrades in all areas so why not use a few.

Tkechuck l. brown duclair
Hall pageau nylander
Namestnikov white c. brown
Ennis teirney chlapic

Next year insert Lafreniere hopefully, possibly norris Davidson and abhramov will be ready too and give them trade bait options with Ennis teirney namestnikov and chlapic.

Nylander has been the leafs most consistant forward this year, and you want to sell him along with a first round pick for scraps? What a joke.

Lmao! Rambo!

Boy I wish I could have the 45 seconds back it took me to read that.

17 Nov 2019 23:19:41
Nope. Don’t see anything wrong here. All these trades are great for Ottawa.

45 seconds of reading, another minute to make sure the names are read correctly. Nylander is probably worth a bit more than the package, but Toronto adds in a first thru already traded away.

Ufa hall worth way more than package, resigned hall worth more than both of the ott packages.

These are some of the worst one sided trades I’ve ever seen.

Wow talk about biased responses by the handful or what.

Nylander is hardly the most consistent leaf lol that's a laugh at best. He's also overpaid bringing his value down even more and the 1st is based off the Marleau trade which was top 10 protection so to get a first it would be worked like the EK deal and depends on which one goes to Carolina. Formenton is a proven solid prospect and one of Ottawa's best at that, Paul is looking like he's finally finding his stride in NHL, boadker could easily slip into a Nylander like role in end of his contract also giving the leafs the space they need to sign guys like andersen, Rielly, Hyman, Barrie or kapanen. Let's face it they will be lucky if they can afford to bring back 1 of those guys if they don't move something big. And given Marner Matthews and Tavares are the only 3 teams would pay for and they ain't moving, that leaves an underachieving Nylander. Plus leafs get a 2nd as well. That looks pretty fair to me.

As for hall comments. The only argument now that makes any sense what so ever and hasn't even been mentioned is the fact Ryan is in rehab. Other than that you g
People can't honestly believe the garbage spewing on here can you? Lol

Let me break it down for you.

Comparable hall - stone

Hall = top 50 point getter, locker room cancer, bad attitude, on record saying he's finished with jersey no matter what after the season

Return expectations according to you all for a guaranteed rental = an elite prospect, 1st round pick, and a top 6 forward/ top 4 defense

Stone = top 3 defense first forward, top 50 point getter, locker room leader, on record saying he wanted to stay where he was but pushed out by management and ownership. Great mentor.

Return achieved plus resign = a solid prospect, a nobody forward, 2nd round pick

Call me crazy all you want but if they don't move hall before deadline they won't get anything like that. Especially not worth more than stone who does everything.
