Shake up trade
Toronto - William Nylander
Winnipeg - Mark Scheifele
I believe the cap hits are very similar.

Zero incentive for Winnipeg to do it. Nylander is paid more, has the same term, isn't as good and doesn't have anywhere near the impact on a game as Scheifele.
Nylander as a complimentary winger on his own doesn't have enough value to return a top 6C. So, he definitely isn't returning a consistent PPG 1C.
Plus if the Jets are trading Scheifele because of a me first attitude, why would they want a worse me first player in return.

Why would the Jets want to trade for a soft, disinterested player like Nylander. At least Scheifele isn't afraid of going into the corners.

i have a hard time believing MAF will waive to go to Edmonton. Connor and Leon are unreal players, but that team is much more than a goalie away from contending.
