If Winnipeg manages to win a couple rounds in the playoffs I think the Buffalo deal would be good for Winnipeg I could see him developing into a great 2C I thought Middlestad was going to be a star rn I’m not sure what happened.

I agree I liked Mittlestad too. I'd take him for a reasonable cost, but no chance I'd give up a first for him. I'd rather just take our chances with whomever our scouts deem as the BPA at that time.

The Mittlestad and Pully trade trades could be nice for the Jets its just trading Buffalo a first for a player that still is a big? would be foolish at this time. I have always liked Pully but if he still wants to be in the top two lines he would hate playing for Maurice who expects young players like him to pay their dues and learn to play at 90 foot game before they get a sniff of the top two lines. Pully at best is only worth a 3rd and then the Jets would have to worry about him becoming a malcontent whiner.
