I’m not sure if I want Cernak tbh. His corsi and fenwick were both terrible this year (43.1% and 44.3% respectively) . I don’t think I would give him 3 mill let alone 4. He would also be simply playing the same role Justin Holl is, and while Cernak May cost a lot more, Holl is on a great contract over the next 3 seasons.

2 things, capspace and the draft picks needed when offersheeting a player. Toronto doesn't have either, as the conditions for 2021draft may not allow them to do that deal.

Cernak isn't worth that. Why give your enemy draft picks for a guy that isn't any better than what you can find on the free agent market?

This is so funny.
1) you two guys saying Cernak is not worth that have most likely not seen him play a single game. He is worth it, 100%.
2) IF a team offer sheets him - and that's a big if - you think of all teams it will be Toronto taking advantage of TB trying to navigate the cap? That's just hilariously funny. Also, TB would easily match that.

1) I've watched lots of Tampa games. I seen Cernak play plenty. More than you I would be willing to bet. He is not worth that. Cernkk compares to Manson and that ain't good. 2) Toronto will not offer sheet anyone. They will keep the picks and get a defender in FA. Don't lump me in with the Leafs trolls. I never said Leafs would OS anyone. I just said Cernak sucks. Which he does.
