Jets Logan Stanley to Detroit for a 2nd and Wheeler to the Rangers for Motte or a 3rd.
Stanley wants ice time and I think the Wings org could work on his development more and it's a younger core.
Motte doesn't have much upside at this point in his career but he brings a versatile game and can be a pain to play against.
Rangers get that bit of extra offense and experience while the Jets get a utility player or a 3rd. A 2nd for Stanley is a fair trade.

No from Winnipeg.

2.) 05 May 2023 13:44:25
These seem reasonable! I wonder if a landing spot for Stanley could be Vancouver as well? Vancouver doesn't have a second this year, but maybe next year's second? Or a third + a player?

3.) 05 May 2023 14:06:25
Why not MeMarcus Joe?
Yeah Vancouver could be an option as well. They could send a prospect or futures for him. Stanley doesn't wanna play here so no sense trying to convince someone the marriage is good when they see it as toxic.

4.) 05 May 2023 14:34:38
Ex, the Stanley one might be pretty good actually, but I can't see the Jets doing the Ranger one, or the Rangers having the cap space to do it.

I missed the trading Wheeler for a 3rd part, I thought it was just Motte, which wouldn't be worth it. Moving Wheeler for a 3rd world work for the Jets, but not the Rangers is imagine.

Sorry about that. That's what I get for not reading the proposal correctly!

It's all good, it's just discussion bud!

6.) 05 May 2023 19:44:37
I would hate to see Stanley get traded. I would rather they trade Demelo, Pionk, Schmidt and even Heinola before Stanley.
The Jets need big, physical d-men who actually play the body.
Its time to move on from their collection of soft, stick checking, mistake prone players the have now.

Exlax…your trades are therubbishs…and your tone definitely sounds familiar. Think it through and don’t take it so personally when you don’t get the response you’re looking for….

My tone sounds familiar? These are my first posts as I'm new here.
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with "therubbishs" posts so why would I take it personally if I"m not getting any response? I'm not a liberal soy boy snowflake.
So tell me, since you must be an expert on trade rumours and majored in Rumourology, break down my "therubbishs" posts and elaborate on why they're trash.

Hellabuck to the Sen's for G Forsberg and prospects D Docker and C/LW Greig.
Jets lose out on a solid G but gain a sometimes starter G in Forsberg and also two prospects, with Docker having the higher ceiling than Greig but both with upside.
Docker has all around ability and Greig's versatile and feisty. Could see him on a line with say Domi and Lowry.

No from Winnipeg.

2.) 05 May 2023 14:13:40
Again, why not? This will probably be Connor's final contract and if the core doesn't stay he will leave as well.
Where do you see him going if he does, and for what?

3.) 05 May 2023 15:43:28
Because the Jets can get better than that. Docker can't crack Ottawa's lineup at 22, he's a right handed Heinola. I like Greig, but along with a waiver level goalie and a struggling prospect isn't enough for a top 5 goalie.

4.) 05 May 2023 19:54:26
The Jets need one end player not backups, minor leaguers and draft picks. Hopefully Chevy will trade potential UFA and get quality not quantity.

PLD to the Habs for Josh Anderson,Christian Dvorak and a 2nd.Or Florida's 1st and one of the above.
Winnipeg has little leverage if Dubois wants out and to Mtl.They can ask for the stars but will only get offered glitter.Les Canadian's can just wait until PLD's UFA status and give up nada.

1.) 05 May 2023 13:40:06
Unlikely Anderson waives for Winnipeg and no chance Winnipeg takes him as a long term cap dump along with another bad contract in Dvorak. The Jets can easily get more than that for PLD as a pure rental and with Friedman saying Dubois is willing to go to multiple teams and being an RFA, the Jets have plenty of leverage.

2.) 05 May 2023 14:45:27
I agree about Anderson but I believe Dvorak has two years left until UFA. So I could see him and a 1st or prospect.
Depends on where Dubois willing to go and which club is open to take him and his persona on as a rental or LTC.
As a RFA, Jets got to match to retain and if he receives a crazy offer they may not due to cap space.
Or, he could just wait until his UFA kicks in.

3.) 05 May 2023 15:47:19
What do you mean as an RFA, the Jets have to match to retain. Are you talking about an offer sheet? He'll be traded before that is possible.

PLD should return something similar to Horvat now that we know he is willing to go to other teams and being younger, better and having more team control.

4.) 05 May 2023 20:00:48
If PLD doesn't sign a long term with the Jets by the draft then trade him to a team that is willing to trade the Jets one top line forward.

5.) 12 May 2023 14:58:49
If bidding starts for PLD, I doubt the habs are going to make a move. They don't want to thin out their prospect pool just for a year of Dubois, especially with rumours of him wanting to come as an UFA the next summer.

The deal as is is probably not a great one for Winnipeg.

Scheifele to Detroit for prospect Amadeus Lombardi and a 2nd.
Mark loves Yzerman,Detroit needs a 1st line C and they have around $30m cap and can afford an extension. The clubs future appears bright and Scheifele may just buy into that as it's close to his home town as well.
Then maybe the Jets can pick up Domi UFA for a few million and extend as he's 27yrs. He has offensive ability and brings some grit and physicality the team needs.

1.) 05 May 2023 13:45:02
No from Winnipeg.

2.) 05 May 2023 20:13:55
The Jets will get a top player for Scheifele.
The Jets don't want or need low end pieces, draft picks or unproven minor league players.
The Jets are not in a total rebuild scenario.
