No thanks from Winnipeg. Ristolainen is not needed at all. The Jets have plenty of bottom pairing defensemen and Risto is not worth a top wing prospect.

Jets add. While he can be shaky defensively, Risto is a proven and solid top 4 D. Vesalainen is unproven, could be good, could be a bust, unproven’s don’t get top 4 d straight up.

No Risto is not much more than a cap dump as no team needs a -50 plus/ minus d-man at $5.4 mil a year.

The more i read about ristolainen from the opinions of everyone on this site the more i'm starting to think ristolainen at 50% retained for pollman might work? .

And that's a big huge question mark.
