Tierney would make a good 2C or very strong 3C. If Jets sign Eakin
Jets could decently strong centres at all 4 lines.
1C. Scheifele
2C Tierney
3C. Eakin
4C. Lowry.
Not great but strong face off guys with good wingers. ( Connor, Laine, Wheeler, Ehlers, Roslovic, Copp, etc ).
Centres are only as good as their wingers.

No thanks from Winnipeg. Tierney isn't a "good 2C" in anyone's estimation and will be looking for a raise that makes him too expensive as a 3C. Plus I don't see him fitting very well with Laine and Ehlers.

Maybe after next year if Copp or Lowry are too expensive to bring back Tierney could come in as a 3C if his contract was reasonable.

I would rather see Little as the Jets #3 center and if Roslovic can't fit in as the #2 then trade for a true #2 center, or look for a UFA. Tierney is no better than Cop, Lowry, Eakins and Roslovic so why trade for him?

Tierney over the last three seasons has averaged 41 points, and he's coming off a 48 point year last year so the potential is definitely there.

Copp has averaged 26 points over the last three years.

Lowry has averaged 18 points over the last three years.

Roslovic has averaged 22 points over the last three years.

Eakin has averaged 27 points over the last three years.

I know you guys love to talk out of your a**, but do some research next time, 'cause no, Tierney is not the same as the others mentioned.

Vertius you really don't understand that hockey is more than points. Tierney played first line minutes and as a pending UFA, with 37 points is nothing but an expensive #3 on the Jets.
