Just some good player options for Montreal to target in the offseason.

(I personally think Fleury is worth this as he is still a good goalie and his cap hit would only be 2.5mil, hence paying Thomson).

Puljujarvi is in the AHL for season 1 until Tatar contract expires, then Pul moves into Top 6. Rather have Weal play 4th line minutes then Puljujarvi

I don’t think Ottawa does that trade, Fleury is still good and at 2.5 is a steal but that trade would only work if he’s going to a team that needs a goalie and is close to the cap, Ottawa has plenty of cap room and wouldn’t be wanting to trade a good prospect for him and the Winnipeg one is to much of an overpayment, Domi alone is good enough as Heinola hasn’t proven enough to be worth a good 2C and a young NHL D plus a 3rd.

The Jet don't need the headache of resigning Domi. Heinola had 5 points in 8 games with the Jets before he was sent down so the Jets would rather keep him.
If the Habs tried to send Pully to the AHL there would be at least a dozen teams that would take a chance to steal him off waivers.

I actually didn't know that Puljujarvi had to clear waivers, or I would of either not signed Toffoli or traded out Tatar to a team like Pittsburgh/ Edmonton for something. In regards to Domi where he isn't signed and neither is Mete, its why I included both plus a 3rd. Just trying to help rebuild the havs backend for when petry walks in a year.

I figured Ottawa would do the trade to stay competitive and I mean they can always flip Fleury at the deadline and retain half again and get a haul for him @ 1.25M.

Very true but if you are looking to flip Fleury then I’d suggest a team like Chicago or Edmonton as they still are competitive teams looking for a cheap 1 B type goalie.
