The two trades are bad for the Jets and I don't see Hoffman signing in Winnipeg. Other than that you're good.

So a 20-30 goal 50-70 point 2nd line center isn’t what Winnipeg keeps unsuccessfully trading for at 2 of the 3 trade deadlines?

So a young controllable very cost efficient top 4 D who got Norris votes last 2 years isn’t needed in Winnipeg

Morrisey Pionk are great top 4 D and good top pair
Dahlsrom poolman solud 6-7 depth guys

After that

Niko is he the next TJ Brennen?
Green looks an AHLer 4 life doesn’t he?
Stanley is big -17AHL looks like Taylor doherty doesn’t he?
Kovacevic looks like green doesn't he?
Samberg looks good but top 4 minutes good yet?
Vallati will be good for 2 years in AHL wouldn’t he?
Chisholm can he go from ohl to top 4 nhl minutes?
Lundmark will he even leave Sweden ever?
Heinola looks for real but who would his partner be?

Oh yeah you jets fans really hope 3 of these 9 can not only make NHL but 2 of them can be 2nd pairing D. A lot of pressure when the 9 have a combined 56 nhl games and 299 AHL games between them

Wouldn’t you want heinola to play with a guy like pesce that would be a great partner for him to really show his skill while his partner helps when mistakes are done.

Wouldn’t you rather Niko as a bottom pair guy? He’d own lesser competition on sheltered minutes. Poolman is a good partner for him.

So yeah a 2nd line C and a top 4 D isn’t needed. The 2 combined cost 1 million more than laine and non will out at seasons end.

Heck throw in Winnipeg boy James Reimer and get Carolina to take half his cap hit. Would that obtuse you fans at all

Jets probably would prefer to give roslovic and see if improves before dealing him for more expensive player especially since it’s 3rd line anyways. Beaulieu is an UFA and don’t see him signing with Winnipeg as he wants to be closer to home. expect Detroit or Montreal (left on good terms loved it there) to sign him. maybe even Boston.

Hoffman yeah can't see him going to Winnipeg but you never know.

If Winnipeg makes the Carolina deal I think the jets would be huge in on event dadonov. Him and Trocheck together were magic in Florida and wouldn’t expect anything less.

So now Laine becomes pesce Trocheck and dadonov.
throw in my Reimer at half price and the jets have now improved everything with 2 simple moves.

Take your damn laine goggles off jets fans. he will holdout in Winnipeg. Get a return for him or just stay the same complacent jet fans.
