If rather keep Anderson and Toffoli. Habs have had small little wingers for years ( not as skilled as Gaudreau), so its nice to have some size and skill on the wing.

Everyone speculates about these big sign and trade deals but it never happens. Guadreau will leave in 2022 as a UFA and the flames will be left with nothing. Same thing that happened with Tavares and what’ll probably happen to Mathews.

@sosahabs24 You won't get argument from me over that. After all the reason I said it'd take Tofoli or Anderson is because a big, physical RW with some skill is one of the Flames biggest needs.

I don't see Bergevin doing that, just saying that's what it'd take from Calgary's point of view.

To reword that.

RW is Calgary's biggest specific need. Big, physical players with some skill is their biggest need in general. Players who will go to the net, into the corners, win puck puck battle, can both hit hard and take a big hit.
