Not to say that the trade is bad, I just wonder why the habs would trade for rentals, they aren’t in a playoff spot and they are clearly not contenders, they should be sellers and quit trying to win with a team that clearly cannot win with this roster and Toffoli doesn’t change that. Unless between now and the deadline they go on a crazy win streak then they’re just prolonging the inevitable.

If you take out the 2 eight games loosing assembly and you give them half of those as wins, mtl is 2nd place in the whole league. That 8 games, 16 points difference. MTL wins they’re next 5 games, they are in a good spot. You never count out a team that plays the way they play even when they loose.

Ahahaha montreal is a mid bottom feeder team in the worst spot in league. Too good to get a reallly good pick and not good enough to challenge for a playoff spot.
Down the middle is a weakness. You don't win in this league without depth down the middle. Ie crosby malkin.
