I can't see the Jets trading Ehlers for one year of an LHD to play behind Morrissey. They need RHD not LHD and it needs to be someone with term or at least team control.

Chychrun can and has played right side. I get what you’re saying about term. But Chychrun would be a great addition to the blue line. Providing Jets could lock him up long term. Or a possible sign and trade.
I just thought this was interesting. I saw it on YouTube.

Muzza, all defenseman can play their offside, Chychrun just isn't any good at it.

But the main thing is that the Jets need a right shot defenseman. They can't keep trying to jamb a square peg into a round hole like they have been doing over the part few years.

It's time to try something different.

When you put it that way. It’s really hard to argue your point memarcusjoe.
Really wish that True North could make some hard core deals. They run the Jets like a small team (business) . I don’t think you can run a successful NHL team (business) like that. Hard, harsh decisions have to be made.
I don’t see much improvements coming this summer.

Chychrun plays the right side better than most lefties. I think if there's an extension in place it could be a potentially great trade. Maybe a little add from the Sens.

Chychrun prefers to play on the right side. Similar to TJ Brodie.
