I think the Jersey one would receive consideration.

I highly doubt the Jets make a trade with Vegas. In any case Schmidt, is to old and with a bad contract, to be considered. Leaving Glass and the 1st which isn't enough value.

Sanheim and the 1st is nice, but Patrick would need to be replaced with something else. Far too injury prone to take a chance on. But this would probably be a good base to work on.

I guess this is what they are asking for. but for any team to consider trading those 3 pieces, Laine would have to be on a very good contract and if that was the case, I don't think we would be waiting this long to find out what is happening.

The New Jersey one seems like an overpayment. They give up a young C who could arguably be low end 1st line C but High end 2C. Plus a Top 4 Dman and a 1st?

I think at least one of the pieces should be dropped out in this deal.

I feel the other two are closer.

What are other thoughts on this?

I still don't believe that the Jets are going to trade Laine at this time but the NJ and Philly offers would make the Jets really think about making a trade.

Patrick has missed 10 games in both his seasons. It’s not great but it’s not that bad. Far to injury prone is an exaggeration.
Schmidt is a 35-40 point D making 5.9M. How is that a bad contract?! Plus he’s 28 which is on the back end of his prime.
Those are three big packages. It miiiight be how much it takes to get Laine but I don’t think so.
