Not even close for Laine. HE is not as bad as everyone makes him seem. Sure he has declined a bit, but I think he will score 50 at some point in his career.

Laine doesn’t suck, but he’s just a goal scorer that isn’t good for much else. So he still has some good value, but not a lot.

Laine really impressed me by playing more grown up hockey this year. Better defensively and playing for team instead of self.

Laine is a one trick pony. At 5 on 5 this year he had a whopping 15 goals, 10 primary assists, and 10 secondary assists. We all know how the Winnipeg fans on here feel about secondary assists, so we will discount then for Laine like that do for other teams players. So 15 goals and 10 primary assists playing 5 on 5 from this superstar player.

Vertus that’s just an ignorant statement Laine is an all around offensive player he can make space for him self with elite hands and a huge frame and can make plays evident by his assist totals this season. He just has an incredible shot.
